🕗 Shift: Days | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 40 hours/week
💵 Weekly Pay: $2,596.00
🧪 Position Summary:
Perform highly specialized cytological examinations for both Gynecological and Non-Gynecological samples. Assist with FNAs, perform Rapid On-Site Evaluations (ROSE), and ensure proper data entry, labeling, and equipment maintenance. This is a hands-on technical role within a collaborative pathology department.
✅ Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of cytotech experience – REQUIRED
Experience attending Fine Needle Aspirations (FNA) and performing ROSE – REQUIRED
Able to perform both primary and QC screening – REQUIRED
CAAHEP-accredited education – REQUIRED
Travel experience – Preferred
Rare on-call availability expected
🔧 Responsibilities Include:
Cytological screening and interpretation
Attending FNAs and providing real-time adequacy assessments
Specimen preparation, labeling, and documentation
Data entry in LIS and quality assurance tracking
Equipment maintenance and inventory oversight
Professional communication with physicians and lab leaders
Compliance with infection control and lab safety standards
