🏥 Position Highlights
• 💡 Experience: Minimum 1 year required
• 🎓 Certifications: Histotechnologist certification required (ASCP or equivalent)
• 🧠 Environment: Anatomic Pathology / Medical Laboratory
• 💻 Charting: Meditech
• 🧩 Skills & Responsibilities:
– Tissue specimen identification, accessioning & processing
– Assisting pathologist with gross examinations
– Tissue embedding, microtomy, staining & slide preparation
– Frozen section preparation
– Special histochemical stains
– Slide/block filing, storage & retrieval
– Preparing specimens for outside consultation
• 🗓️ Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8-hour day shifts
• 🎄 Holidays: Coverage required
