🏥 Position Highlights
• 💡 Experience: 2+ years IR experience required (no first-time travelers)
• 🪪 Certifications: BLS required | ACLS preferred
• 🎓 Travel: Travel experience required
• 💻 Charting: Epic (preferred)
• 🧠 Environment: Interventional Radiology | 5 procedure rooms
• 🗓️ Schedule: 4×10 Days (0700–1730)
• 📞 Call: Required
– Weekday call ~4 nights/month (1730–0630)
– Weekend call ~every 6th weekend
• 🦠 Vaccines: COVID required (medical/religious exemptions) | Flu required (no exemptions)

⚙️ Core Responsibilities & Skills
Scrub & circulate procedures; maintain sterile field
Equipment setup & access site prep
Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
Broad IR skillset including:
Angiography (aortic, visceral, renal, pulmonary)
Embolization (including radioembolization)
Thrombectomy/Thrombolysis, TIPS
Central lines/ports, dialysis access
GI/GU procedures (nephrostomy, biliary drainage, gastrostomy)
Neuro IR (carotid angio, embolization)
Imaging modalities: CT, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound | PACS

📋 Important Notes
Teaching hospital & trauma exposure preferred; Level I/II experience a plus
Emergency response policy in effect (details provided by unit leadership)
