Position Overview
Join the team at Advocate Trinity Hospital, a 205-bed facility located in South Chicagoland, as a traveling Interventional Radiology Tech. This is a highly specialized role with a weekly pay rate of $3,268. If you have strong IR and Cath Lab experience and are ready to make an impact, we want to hear from you!

🔍 Job Details

Facility: Advocate Trinity Hospital

Shift: 8-Hour Day Shift

Week 1: Monday, Wednesday, Friday

Week 2: Wednesday, Friday

On-Call Requirements:

10–11 days per 4-week period

2+ weekday calls/week (M–F, 3:30 PM – 7:00 AM)

1+ weekend call per 4 weeks (24-hour shifts Sat–Sun)

30-minute response time required

Holiday On-Call Only: Potential call on major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day)

Weekend Rotation: TBD

Floating: Required between Cath, EP, and IR Labs

Patient Population: Lower volume; non-trauma; Level II NICU

Scrubs & Parking: Provided and free, respectively

🛠 Technology & Equipment

Charting System: EPIC, CV PACS

Equipment: MERGE Hemo, Phillips C-arm, Volcano, Shock Wave, Asurion X-ray

Procedures (IR): Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, UFE, IVC filter placement, central lines, CT-assisted biopsies, fistulas, PAD intervention

Cath Lab: STEMI, IABP, PCI

EP: Generator exchange (dual, single, leadless)

✅ Requirements

Minimum 2 years IR Tech experience

Experience with Cath Lab and IR procedures

Active Illinois License (IEMA)

BLS (AHA)

ARRT (IR)

CCI Certification
