We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Liaison to join our team and play a vital role in maintaining clinical excellence across our staffing solutions.
Position Overview:
The Clinical Liaison serves as the critical link between our healthcare travelers, clients, and internal leadership. This role is responsible for ensuring clinical compliance, coaching, and guiding healthcare professionals, and driving quality initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess an LPN degree or higher, have substantial experience in long-term care (LTC), and demonstrate strong leadership and coaching abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Address and provide guidance/resolution of clinical issues with healthcare travelers and clients.
• Ensure that policies, procedures, and best practices are followed to promote the safety and well-being of healthcare travelers and patients.
• Maintain compliance with JCAHO, CMS, individual state regulations, and client-specific clinical practices.
• Collaborate with leadership and multidisciplinary teams to manage and evaluate risk and implement processes to improve outcomes.
• Track and analyze trends of clinical issues for ongoing performance improvement.
• Conduct surveys addressing performance issues, client satisfaction, and traveler satisfaction to ensure high standards of quality.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and process improvement initiatives to support business success, positive workplace culture, and exceptional care delivery.
• Maintain and update healthcare skills checklists for accuracy and relevancy.
• Create and update job descriptions for healthcare professionals to reflect evolving role expectations.
• Perform skillset evaluations, pre-screen interviews, resume reviews, and clinical coaching to ensure top-tier talent and optimal job matches.
• Provide education and training on industry standards and specific healthcare modalities to support high-performance outcomes.
• Coach and mentor CNAs and LPNs in best practices and problem resolution, fostering professional growth and excellence.
Requirements:
• Active, unencumbered license (Required).
• LPN degree or higher, with work experience in direct patient care (Required).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting.
• At least 2 years of management or leadership experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Joint Commission standards.
• Experience in collaboration and implementation of quality/performance improvement plans.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively coach and mentor clinical staff.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
